Leeds United announces a stg£4.5 million profit

18 months after relegation and administration and being docked 15 points at the start of the 2007-2008 season, Leeds United have announced profits of more than £4m for the 14-month period ending on June 30 this year.

The directors have identified the re-purchase of their training academy at Thorp Arch and their ground at Elland Road as main priorities for the immediate future.

No word on the goldfishes though.
