Amidst rumours of the Blues still trying to up the offer, unconfirmed reports suggest that Kaka’s father and agent Bosco Leite has already sealed the deal with Real Madrid. Earlier this year Kaka had refused a ₤100 deal and a ₤500,000 a week salary from Manchester city to stay at Milan. But this time around, the rumours seem to be true and Kaka might be shifting base from Italy to Spain.

The Brazilian midfielder is a star campaigner and s prize catch for Madrid who struggled in La Liga this season. They finished second but had a string of painful losses at the end which didn’t add to their confidence. But with confident bids against Ronaldo and Franck Ribery, new Real Prez Florentino Porez seems to be having an eye for the title next season.

While Ronaldo’s transfer from Manchester United might overshadow this Kaka deal, Ribery’s move from Bayern Munich to Real Madrid will also be a shot in the arm. Real Madrid are going for total revamping and Kaka’s move might be the lift they need. Now if only the Blues don’t come in and spoil the party!
