Sunderland v Chelsea 1-3 Blues show their class again

For the second match in a row, Chelsea came back from a goal down to winning a match effectively in their outing at Sunderland. Winning 1-3 after Sunderland had scored to go ahead in the match was surely a second present for Carlo Ancelotti.

Darren Bent had put the hosts in the lead as he fired a shot from Kenwyne Jones past Petr Cech. And till half time, Chelsea didn’t look like the side that they are as the score read 1-0. Ancelotti’s diamond midfield formation ensured possession for his boys but only frustration as they failed to score. But soon there after, a Michael Ballack goal through a corner in the 52nd minute unleashed the devil and the Blues just came out firing then.

Frank Lampard dispatched a penalty after McCartney was fouled for tripping Didier Drogba. Deco also joined the party as he scored a beautiful right foot shot in the 70th minute. Drogba also got close to scoring his third goal of the season when his header bounced off the bar. While Chelsea impressed in the second half, but the Sunderland boys manage to give them quite a many scares in the first half.
