FC Zurich Shocks AC Milan 1-0 at San Siro

AC Milan’s woes continued, as they suffered yet another defeat at San Siro in the Group stages of the Champions League.

Even though the Italian Club had the better of the possession and looked the stronger side on show, FC Zurich edged past them through a back-heeled goal from Finnish Defender, Hannu Tihinen.

The Swiss Club looked a completely different side from the one that had a 5-2 mauling from Real Madrid in their last game of the Champions League.

Rossoneri’s lackluster performance in the Serie A was visible in the game, as Inzaghi, Ronaldinho, Seedorf and Ambrosini failed to get an equalizer for the home side.

Now, AC Milan Coach, Leonardo, who has been under tremendous pressure since taking over from Ancelotti, would be looking for an inspiration from the veterans at the club to get out of the mess, which they are in right now in all competitions.
