Aston Villa Vs Chelsea: Collins Showed Chelsea the Blues at Villa Park

Chelsea was shocked at the hands of Aston Villa, as Martin O’Neil’s side came off as 2-1 victors at Villa Park.

Former West Ham United Defender, James Collins, scored his first goal for Aston Villa and handed Chelsea their second successive away defeat in the Premier League Championship.

It did start well for the Blues, as star striker, Didier Drogba, gave them the lead within the first 15 minutes of the game.

However, poor defending on the part of the away side saw both the corners from Ashley Young, on either side of the first half, finding defenders Richard Dunne and James Collins, both of whom found the back of the net and made Villa fans ecstatic.

With this loss, Chelsea has now slipped to the second position, as Manchester United won their match against Bolton 2-1 and grabbed the top spot.
