Real served a shocker by Milan

Too many errors from the goalies and a superb game play from AC Milan ensured that they dumped Real Madrid 3-2 in their Champions League encounter last night. Brazilian forward Pato who scored twice was the star for AC Milan as he proved too good for the Real keeper Iker Casillas. Playing at the Bernabeu, the meeting was one looked after by fans as the these two are the most successful clubs in Champions League.

First it was Dida,Milan’s goal keeper who gave Raul the chance to score in the first half which he capitalised on. Andrea Pirlo equalised for the visitors as he beat Casillas through a right foot shot from 35 yards. Then Pato backed it up with another goal within minutes to give Milan a 1-2 lead. Another Casillas error as he left the post absolutely open for the waiting Pato. Roython Drenthe then equalised for Real through a Raul pass beating Dida with a left footed shot.

Minutes before the final nail is dug in the coffin, Casillas shows a touch of brilliance as he saves a low cut from Pato. The corner is disallowed but the latter comes back with a volley through a pass from Clarence Seedorf. AC Milan seal the match 2-3 and leave the Santiago Bernabeu silent.
