Fulham came from two goals down to hold Manchester City to a draw 2-2. This played a spoiler to City’s clean record at home as they have won their last seven games at Eastlands. While the match saw some tense minutes in the first half, no team could score. Joleon Lescott broke the shackles following a corner in the 53rd minute. Exchange of passes between Gareth Barry and Martin Petrov and the latter threw his boot at the right shot in the 60th minute.

But just two minutes later, Fulham came back through Duff’s strike in the 62nd minute. Clint Dempsey headed home a free kick in the 68th minute to equalise for the visitors. While Fulham was the defensive side in the first half and Man city continued with an aggressive play, the hosts did have most of the goal possession. There were some late chances for both teams but neither could manage the goal. Barry headed a Bellamy cross just wide for City and Kamara pulled a shot wide late on. Dempsey continued to pose a threat to City but didn’t manage to score a second time. While both tried, a draw seemed to be fair for both sides who seemed equal in their capability at the field.
