Late goal gives Bolton a win – Bolton 3-2 Everton
A thrilling encounter was witnessed at The Reebok Stadium as Bolton scored a late goal to defeat Everton 3-2. The Premier League match had both sides matching the other in skill and speed. It was Chung-Yong Lee’s 16th minute goal that got the proceedings going for Bolton. A free kick from Matt Taylor was scored by Gary Cahill in the 26th minute and put the hosts 2-0 in front.
Louis Saha scored for Everton in the 32nd minute to get the visitors on the board for the first time in the match. Marouane Fellaini then scored in the 55th minute to equalise the match for Everton. The match then saw some very tense moments as both sides gained aggression. Jo was particularly aggressive for Everton while Sam Ricketts was the star in the field for Bolton Wanderers.
Substitute Ivan Klasnic was the scorer of the decisive goal for Bolton as the whole stadium erupted with excitement. This was Ivan’s first goal in the English Football. This was also the first time Bolton have won and taken three points at the Reebok Stadium since the start of the League.
