Maccabi Haifa 0-1 Juventus: Camoranesi seals victory as Israelis crash out of Champions League

Juventus were keen on showing their strength right from the word go, and had a couple of chances go without a goal early on.

Bianconeri goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon made two consecutive saves that kept the visitors in the game, as a corner from Yaniv Katan eventually fell to Vladimer Dvalishvili, who produced a brilliant save from the ‘keeper. The Italian made a second save within a fraction of a second to keep his side in the game.

The only goal of the game came during the dying moments of the first-half, when Mauro Camoranesi struck a shot that took a deflection from Dekel Keinan and went into the back of the net. This ensured that the Serie A club eventually walked away with all three points.
