Premier League Post Match Analysis as on 28th November

Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City played a goalless draw at Ewood Park and Blackburn settled for a point without their Manager Sam Allardyce who has been recovering from a heart complaint. Blackburn nearly scored but unfortunately the effort of Steven Nzonzi came back after hitting the post and was denied the fifth consecutive home win.

On the other Saturday EPL match, Birmingham City has got past Wolves by a single goal victory. This victory has raised Alex McLeish’s side to the 11th table spot and has stretched the consecutive victories for Birmingham to 5 wins. This derby encounter witnessed former England midfielder, Lee Bowyer scoring the only goal of the match.

Bolton Wanderers had a near escape at Craven Cottage as Fulham pressed harder and harder but could not find the winning goal. Bolton went ahead as early as the 34th minute through Ivan Klasnic’s close range shot but the second half string of attacks finally paid off through Damien Duff shooting at the far bottom corner of the net. Fulham pressed really hard in the second half and Dempsey was very close to scoring but his shot was blocked.
