Redknapp to offer for Bellamy?

After reports of Craig Bellamy’s clash with new Manchester City boss, Roberto Mancini started doing the media rounds, the latest buzz seems to be Harry Redknapp’s interest in Bellamy. Seems, The Tottenham Hotspurs Chief will field for Bells if Mancini ditches the footballer.

Yesterday, media reports highlighted the clashes between Bellamy and Mancini on training session. Sighting these reasons, it was also reported that Bellamy was looking for greener avenues. Redknapp had wanted to sign Bells at the start of this season as well but Bellamy wanted to join his Welsh boss, Hughes. Since the sacking of Hughes, it seems Bellamy is unhappy and wants to quit City and sign elsewhere.

If the deal gets verbal then City will surely ask for the money they paid West Ham for Bellamy who has outshone others since he joined City. But to sign Bellamy, Redknapp will have to arrange for finances from within the team. In other teams he might have to sell a player to arrange the funds. It seems Roman Pavlyuchenko, the Russian signing has attracted Liverpool and his deal might finance the Bellamy transfer.

While Spurs has paid £13.8m for the striker, he hasn’t struck form in their team.
