Real Madrid feel proud in the techniques they employ to get players to come to their club. From David Beckham to Ruud Van Nistelrooy to Christiano Ronaldo, they have had some of the most high profile signings. While the buzz started with Real boss seeking Wayne Rooney through Ronaldo’s contacts, the latest rumour states that Nemanja Vidic is on the wanted list for Real Madrid. The defender is on bad terms with Sir Alex Fergusson and is almost set on an exit from Old Trafford. And when Real sees an opportunity, they know how to cash in on it.

While Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s entry to Anfield isn’t a gossip anymore, the abuzz is that Argentine winger Maxi Rodriguez might be coming on loan. Rafael Benitez is looking to strengthen his side and Maxi is part of a long term plan which starts as a short term loan deal waiting to change into a deal. The Atheltico Madrid player was reportedly kept out of his last match to hold talks with Rafa. A possible player plus cash swap for Maxi and Italian full-back Dossena is also in the consideration. Spurs though hope to spoil the party by trying to arrange a swap of David Bentley for Maxi on loan. The Liverpool boss hopes to arrange funds by offloading Andriy Voronin and Andrea Dossena. While Ryan Babel has been vocal about his leaving The Reds, Birmingham City are hoping to capitalise on this by making a £8m bid for the Dutch winger.

The man responsible for tormenting Manchester United in the FA cup, Jermaine Beckford is also suddenly in demand. The Leeds striker has got a price tag of £2m and potential suitors include Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest.
