This Saturday when Arsenal faced off against Everton at the Emirates stadium, the Arsenal fans were thankful to the substitute Tomas Rosicky who snatched that crucial point by scoring at the 90th minute. The match was a draw and both teams fought tooth and nails to gain that decisive score, but none of them quite managed to do that. Everton drew first blood with their impressive goal on the twelfth minute after the starting whistle blew. Leon Osman was the man who headed the first goal for Everton into the goal and gave them the lead in the game. The match went on with a number of attacks and counter attacks for the next fifteen minutes.
Right on the twenty seventh minute, barely fifteen minutes after the first goal from Everton, Denilson scored against Everton as the ball shot past Tim Howard and the gunners equalized against their opponents. The score remained 1-1 till the end of the first half and it was during the second half that things started becoming interesting. For the major part the second half went on without a single goal and suddenly on the eightieth minute Piennar sprinted into a pass from Cahill and chipped the ball into the net well past the goal keeper.
When all hope seemed to be lost and after an uneventful nine minutes, the gunners suddenly came back with renewed vigor and the man of the hour Tomas Rosicky scored the last minute goal with barely seconds remaining till the final whistle blew. With the final goal from Arsenal the score sheet settled at 2-2. Thus both teams went home with a point each.
