Blackburn take on Manchester City tonight

Blackburn will be playing Manchester City tonight in a Premier League match tonight. The cold and snow has seen many cancellations during the past week and fans will welcome this encounter if the weather permits. The hosts are without the service of some key players but will still be the stronger side with the huge database of strikers they hold.

While Stephen Ireland has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, Nedum Onuoha will have to sit out due to a calf strain. The Rovers, on the other hand will only be missing the services of Vince Grella who is out with a thigh injury. Brett Emerton will be playing after his medical proved him fit. El-Hadji Diouf will be sitting out as he was suspended during the Aston Villa encounter previously.
