Joe Kinnear back at Newcastle – Back Seat Driver??

Joe_KinnearJoe Kinnear wouldn’t be known for his communication skills , though he had no problem announcing recently that he was on his was back to Newcastle United as Director of Football.

As soon as I am done writing , will be lodging some of my hard earned pound into my Betfair account to place a Wager. If fans , staff and ex players alike have their say , Kinnear wont last too long.

It was marked in history as the most swear words in a Press conference when he joined Newcasle united first back in 2008. He has had a love/hate with Media and other critics alike , even saying on a BBC Interview last night that he had “more intelligence” than any of his critics who have questioned his return to Newcastle.

Alan Shearer , record goal scorer for Newcastle said to BBC – “People are laughing at the football club I support. And that sickens me”

Ex Wimbeldon and Wales Striker John Hartson believes Fans & Media are treating Mr Kinnear a little harshly.

“Some of the things being said about him are a bit disrespectful. He is there for three years and, if things don’t work out, then you can turn round and say ‘he’s not done his job’, but until then, you must give him a chance. He’s been out of the game for four years but who’s not to say he’s been travelling all over the world scouting players?”

All are waiting patiently at Tyneside for clear comment from Newcastle Manager Alan Pardew who is bracing himself for the onslaught of questions from Media. Pardew just probably wants to keep the head down for the summer and let the Magpies prepare for their first Premier League match away to Man City.

Whether Kinnear turns out to be a backseat driver or not remains to be seen , Pardew is busy working on a team to bring to Kinnear for review , but we’re not sure if Pardew has what it takes to bite his tongue and keep on the right side of Joe Kinnear.

We wish you well Joe , you are only Human and trying to do a good job!
